Futures and Options

[Intro]

The walls looked permanent

Until the pressure spoke.

[Verse]

They built their towers out of hollow

Steel and smoke and borrowed names

Selling futures to the broken

While setting fire to the frame

Every lie required another

Every mask another face

Every layer of deception

Pulled the structure out of place

[Pre-Chorus]

You can silence every warning

You can bury every scar

But corruption writes its signature

Into everything you are

[Chorus]

Because the seed of destruction

Was hidden in the crime

Every fracture growing wider

With the pressure of time

Now the empire’s shaking violently

From the inside out

No enemy at the gates

Just the weight of its own doubt

[Interlude]

[Verse]

The screens kept glowing through the darkness

Synthetic dreams and dopamine

People dancing in the ruins

Of a dying machine

Truth became a dangerous language

Depth became a threat

And every soul that still remembered

Was something to suppress

[Pre-Chorus]

But reality is patient

And consequence survives

You can distort the field for decades

But distortion never stabilises

[Chorus]

Because the seed of destruction

Was hidden in the crime

Every fracture growing wider

With the pressure of time

Now the empire’s shaking violently

From the inside out

No enemy at the gates

Just the weight of its own doubt

[Bridge]

Round and round the vortex turning

Every hidden thing revealed

Power feeding on illusion

While the architecture peeled

And the people started waking

One by one beneath the noise

Hearing something in the distance

Like a sleeping lion’s voice

[Breakdown]

Nothing hidden...

Nothing buried...

Nothing escapes the field...

[Final Chorus]

Because corruption breeds collapse

Like rust beneath the skin

Every system built on falsehood

Eventually caves in

Now the signal’s moving through it

Like fire through the wires

And the kingdom built on theatre

Falls beneath its own desires

The collapse had already begun.
