Forbidden Fruit

[Intro]

The first buds of spring before summer begins,

she felt her heartstrings melt.

Even to this day, she can never truly say,

just how she felt.

[Pre-Chorus]

He had swagger and impeccable manners

But at night he wore a different suit.

Women were not really the apple of his eye,

He yearned for the forbidden fruit.

[Verse]

He was like the perfect man

That she worshipped and adored.

But their love ended, up shattered to pieces,

like the blade of a samurai sword.

[Chorus]

He had swagger and impeccable manners

But at night he wore a different suit.

Women were not the apple of his eye,

he yearned for the forbidden fruit.

[Interlude]

In their preceding years,

there was no doubt or fear,

it felt like unbridled love.

Truly, a match made in heaven,

conceived by the God’s above.

[Chorus]

He had swagger and impeccable manners

But at night, he wore a different suit.

Women were not the apple of his eye,

He yearned for the forbidden fruit.

Oh yes...

he yearned for the forbidden fruit.

Oh yes...

he yearned for the forbidden fruit.
