This is one of my best known interactions. It was taken while I was volunteering at El Gecko Verde hotel in Castril, Spain. I was able to use my phone camera to get this beautiful photo.

That is so beautiful. I have been visited every morning this week by a gorgeous black and orange butterfly. It stops me in my tracks to get my attention, and once it has it, it floats around with pure joy as I watch it. I find myself smiling at the pure joy it brings, and then I feel I become one with it as it floats away so lightly. Today, it actually brought some tears to my eyes, reminding me of my dad, who passed away 13 years ago at the end of May. I saw the same colour butterfly back then. Maybe it's him saying I'm still near. It landed on my dog's nose. It was the sweetest thing. My dog and I just looked at each other and smiled.
