The Architect
The Architect
[Intro]
An architect on fire,
Driven by desire.
The devil is in the details.
But it’s all on paper.
Planning is king.
But won’t always bring love.
We are human beings,
Not skyscrapers!
[Verse]
Designing her life.
Making no compromises.
Drafting the ideal man inside her mind.
Her candle is burning bright.
She is doing everything right.
But he is one thing she just can’t find.
[Chorus]
An architect on fire
Driven by desire.
The devil is in the details,
But it’s all on paper.
Planning is king.
But won’t always bring love.
We are human beings
Not skyscrapers.
[verse]
Her biological clock is ticking,
But time is slipping away.
So elusive is the man of her dreams.
She is looking for gold.
In deep valleys of coal.
And tired of mining the same barren seams.
[chorus]
An architect on fire,
Driven by desire.
The devil is in the details,
But it’s all on paper.
Planning is king,
But won’t always bring love.
We are human beings not skyscrapers.
[verse]
Never stationary,
Or satisfied being average.
Setting impossible standards for herself.
No man alive, can be adequately described,
As matching the list pinned to her shelf.
Canvassing hearts.
Looking for perfection.
Fastidiously searching for that blinding light.
Is there a man out there,
who compares to her vision?
Will she ever find Mr Right?.
