Rough Diamond

!2 Versions One song. Many facets. An entire spectrum of sound.

Rough Diamond is a multi-genre collection built around a single song about latent potential and the process through which it is revealed. Like an uncut stone mistaken for discarded glass, our greatest capacities can remain hidden beneath an unfinished surface—waiting for the pressure, precision and clarity that will allow the light within them to appear.

Across a diverse range of musical arrangements, the same lyric is cut at different angles. Each genre catches the composition in its own way, revealing colours, emotions and dimensions that could not be heard from a single perspective. The song remains the constant source, while every interpretation becomes another facet through which its meaning can shine.

At its heart, Rough Diamond is not about becoming something artificial. It is about removing what obstructs the light. The cuts are not destructive; they expose the geometry that was present all along. We do not invent the spectrum or command its colours. Our task is to become clear enough—and hold a faithful enough angle—to let them pass through us.

A celebration of pressure, refinement and human possibility, Rough Diamond reveals how one coherent source can produce an extraordinary variety of expression without ever losing its identity.
