This video is a 10 minute interaction with a Twin Tailed Pasha butterfly. Some interactions are very brief, but some, like this one, can be several minutes long. Each interaction is special in it's own way, but I rate this as one of my top favourites of all time. The wind was so strong at the top of the mountain, so I cupped my hand to shelter the butterfly from the gusts. A very satisfying video to make and to watch.

This video is a 5 minute interaction with a Scarce Swallowtail butterfly (Iphiclides podalirius) The light and shadows make this a very pleasing video to watch. The butterfly is in perfect condition as you can see in the video.
VIDEO 3 - DRAGONS DEN
This video is a 2 minute interaction with an Old World Swallowtail (papilla Machaon). I was filming on the hilltop when an unusual object tumbled into the scrub off to my right. I went over to investigates and when I got closer, I saw this Swallowtail upside down, with a huge blue dragonfly, standing on it's belly waiting to eat it. I intervened, and the Dragonfly flew off. I was rewarded, a little later, when the same butterfly came to say thank you.

This video is an 8 minute interaction with a Twin Tailed Pasha. I offered my hand up to the Olive branch the butterfly was perched on and coaxed it onto my hand. Some people think that I can make butterflies do as I wish, but that is not how butterfly whispering works. Butterflies are sentient beings, if they wish to interact with me I enjoy it, but I never take it for granted, or assume I have a magical power. I am simply present and that is all we have to be to receive these magical gifts.
VIDEO 5 - TONGUE TIED
This video is another 8 minute interaction with a Twin Tailed Pasha. In this video the Pasha gives me a thorough bathing with her tongue. It is the strangest feeling to be mistaken for a flower. This video was a fun one to make.
