When a butterfly dies, the body perishes quickly, but the wings can remain in perfect condition for many months. When the wings are preserved inside a durable synthetic resin, they will remain beautiful for the life of the product.
Each set of these beautiful butterfly wing earrings comes individually boxed, with an accompanying colour booklet describing the Guardian angel butterfly conservation programs' aims and aspirations.

These real butterfly wings come from naturally expired butterflies. The wings are preserved inside a high gloss synthetic resin. Many of the wing types can be preserved in a very natural and realistic state. In cases where the wings become completly white/transparent we add colour on the reverse side and use the structure of the wing to provide the intricate patterning and detail. Our work is a fusion of art and nature, nature providing the canvas and we work with that to create something visually interesting. Each pair has a solid silver ring bonded to the back to take the solid silver ear hooks.earhooks.
