Castles in the Sand
[Intro]
No equations on a board
No teachers in the sand
No lectures in the ocean
No musicians in the band
[Verse]
Beneath the rolling waters
Working alone by hand
Using waveform modulation
To build a castle in the sand
As though his life depended on it
And perhaps maybe it did
For deep within the geometry
A secret lay well hid
A language shaped the circle
But who taught the designer?
Yet every curve and channel
Resonated deep inside her
[Pre-Chorus]
She didn't need a language
She didn't need a plan
She recognised the beauty
Written in the sand
[Chorus]
She knew...
Though she didn't know why
She saw...
With more than her eyes
No words
No words could explain
Something in the pattern
Was calling her name
[Verse]
She swam in silence
surveying the architecture below
As though an unseen intelligence
Had somehow shaped the whole
Every contour served a purpose
Every chamber held a dream
But just one wave
would be all it took
To wipe the whole bed clean
The circle seemed to whisper
Though no words were ever said
Like recognising a forgotten song
Whose words had long since fled
[Pre-Chorus]
She didn't need a language
She didn't need a plan
She recognised the beauty
Written in the sand
[Chorus]
She knew...
Though she didn't know why
She saw...
With more than her eyes
No words
No need to explain
Something in the pattern
was calling her name
[Verse]
The circle held a message
The message held a key
Not spoken into existence
But formed in sacred geometry
Perhaps the deepest knowing
Can never be taught at all
It recognises instinctively
When the writing’s on the wall
She didn't need a language
She didn't need a plan
She recognised the beauty
Written in the sand
[Outro]
